Shield & Stallion is the public brand of Shield & Stallion Insurance LLC, an independent property and casualty insurance agency working from Illinois. We are not an insurance company. We do not underwrite or issue policies in our own name. If coverage is bound, a licensed carrier or other authorized market issues it. A licensed advisor reviews each submission. We transact only where the agency, or a producer on the file, is authorized.
Who owns the file

Office
We work with technology companies and other businesses from Illinois. If you need a mailing address for a certificate or a surplus-lines filing, we will provide it on the file.
Independence and market access
We may access multiple insurance markets and are not obligated to use any single insurer. Some technology placements, especially cyber and Tech E&O, are often written in surplus lines when that is the available market. That is a market fact, not a promise that surplus lines will be offered or is suitable for you.
Where we can transact
Submitting an application is an inquiry, not an offer to sell insurance in every state. We transact only where Shield & Stallion Insurance LLC, or a licensed producer working your file, is authorized. If you are outside those states, we review the inquiry and will tell you whether we can proceed, refer you to a licensed colleague, or decline. We will not pretend we can bind coverage everywhere.
