Shield & Stallion is the brand used by Shield & Stallion Insurance LLC (“we,” “us”), an independent insurance agency. This policy describes how we collect, use and share information when you visit shieldandstallion.com or submit an application.

Information we collect

When you start an application or contact us, we may collect your name, company name, email, phone number, industry, location, and details about your business, contracts, or existing insurance. This site does not currently accept file uploads. If you later email a policy, contract or other document to an address we provide, we receive that file by email. Our site may also store limited technical data such as browser type and pages viewed, and may keep application progress in your browser’s local storage so you can resume.

How we use it

We use this information to respond to you, evaluate coverage needs, present your business to insurance markets, issue certificates, service policies, and meet legal or regulatory duties. We do not sell your personal information.

How we share it

We share information with licensed insurance carriers, wholesalers and other markets as needed to quote, bind or service coverage, and with vendors who help us operate email, hosting or document handling, under contracts that limit their use of the data. Applications are delivered through Formspree, which emails the submission to us. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the agency, our clients or the public.

Retention and security

We keep client and applicant files for as long as needed to service the relationship and to meet record-keeping rules. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices

You may ask us for access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Contact us at 331.331.0660 or through the application.

Children

This site is intended for business insurance inquiries. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
