Shield & Stallion Insurance for What’s Next
SaaS insurance

SaaS insurance for the contract, the data, and the certificate.

Procurement will not go live until they see cyber, Technology E&O, and a certificate that matches the schedule. We start with what you sell and what the MSA says.

SaaS is underwritten as its own class because you hold customer data in a multi-tenant environment and enterprise MSAs specify the cover. Generic business insurance fails the first serious deal.

Today

CyberBreach response, privacy, ransomware, and network liability. Triggered by customer data and by the contract that assumes you will have it.
Technology E&OThe product fails, the SLA is missed, an integration never lands, and the customer claims a financial loss.
Business owners policyIf you lease space, this is often what the landlord meant. Contents plus general liability, packaged.
Workers compensationRequirements vary by state. Remote staff are typically rated where they work, not only at headquarters.

As you grow

First enterprise contractHigher limits, additional insured, waiver, and sometimes primary wording. Procurement may request multi-million-dollar limits.
Priced roundDirectors and officers cover. Investors and outside directors expect it at or before closing. See startup D&O.
Tenth hireEPLI becomes a conversation. Employment claims track headcount more than revenue.
Customers outside the USPrivacy duties change how cyber is underwritten. Tell us before the first EU order, not after.

Questions we hear

Send us the insurance requirements. We'll compare them with the available policy terms and identify what can be satisfied, what may require an endorsement, and what may not be available. A certificate of insurance is evidence of insurance. It does not amend the policy. After coverage is bound, we can provide the appropriate certificate.

Usually a small stack: cyber and Tech E&O (often packaged), then BOP and workers compensation if you have people or a lease. D&O and EPLI arrive with a round or headcount. We will not sell you a bundle you do not need.

No instant quote. Underwriters need the business, the controls, and often the contract. We aim to respond within one business day with questions or next steps.
